Didi Deco, run by Modiehi Didi Mokoena, based in Phuthaditjhaba in the Eastern Free State, caters to individuals, families, corporate clients, schools, and government departments for weddings, traditional ceremonies, corporate functions, funerals, and celebrations.
A standout aspect of the business is its focus on family entertainment. Through its kiddies’ offerings—featuring inflatables, pools, and mascots—Didi Deco ensures events deliver complete experiences rather than just food and decoration.
“We sustain the business by offering different services instead of relying on one source of income,” Mokoena explains. “We also focus strongly on customer service and referrals.”
This diversified model has enabled the business to create local employment, employing up to 18 permanent and casual staff members depending on event size. What sets Didi Deco apart is its commitment to quality presentation, freshly prepared food, and tailored service that creates lasting memories.
